NAIC Events
NAIC hosts several educational forums and professional conferences designed to give NAIC members, institutional investors and other stakeholders an opportunity to expand their knowledge, build relationships and exchange information. NAIC events are focused particularly on investment strategies and trends in the US Emerging Domestic Market (EDM). These events include:
Plan Sponsor & Minority Manager Consortium
The Plan Sponsor & Minority Manager Consortium convenes plan sponsors, fund of funds managers, consultants and others together with EDM fund managers and other investment managers specializing in an array of investment strategies.
The goals of the Plan Sponsor & Minority Manager Consortium are as follows:
- Increase plan sponsor awareness of the EDM
- Facilitate relationship building between plan sponsors and EDM fund managers
- Further the EDM discussion with panel discussions, luncheons and receptions and
- Increase the flow of plan sponsor capitol to the EDM
This event is co-hosted by NAIC and RG & Associates LLC, a conference and event planning company specializing in developing and managing conferences in the financial services industry.

NAIC Annual Meeting & Convention
NAIC’s Annual Meeting & Convention offers NAIC members and guests the opportunity to participate in a full program of plenary sessions, best practices workshops, and networking activities in a environment that is simultaneously exhilarating and relaxing. Panelists and keynote speakers are thought leaders in the EDM investment sector whose perspectives offer inspiration to meeting participants. The Annual Meeting & Convention also features competitive golf and tennis tournaments, during which participants are invited to enjoy friendly fun in the sun.

Trustee and Plan Sponsor Professional Development Symposium
The Trustee and Plan Sponsor Professional Development Symposium is an event designed for new and experienced pension fund trustees.
Sponsored by NAIC’s Entrepreneurial Investment Growth Institute (EIGI), the Trustee and Plan Sponsor Professional Development Symposium focuses on private equity investment opportunities of the US Emerging Domestic Market (EDM). Sessions offer participants exposure to trends, best practices and tools that can be used to make wise, innovative and profitable investment decisions.
