Craig Fowler a managing director with Banc of America Capital Access Funds. Located in St. Louis, he focuses on adding value to the portfolio of funds and companies in which Bank of America invests. Craig joined Bank of America in 1997 as an Investment Officer with Banc of America Small Business Investment Company. In this role, he made mezzanine and equity investments in small and minority-owned businesses throughout the Midwest.
Before joining Bank of America, Craig was a corporate relationship manager and assistant vice president with Mercantile Bank, lending to small and middle-market companies. During his 15 years in commercial banking, he developed an expertise in a number of private, federal, state and local programs geared toward economic development.
In 1999, Craig was selected by the St. Louis Business Journal as one of its Top 40 Business Leaders Under 40. In addition to his post as a director at NAIC, Craig is a director at the St. Louis Local Development Company. He also is active in other charitable organizations within his community.
Craig holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration from the John M. Olin School of Business at Washington University, and he is a graduate of the Venture Capital Institute.
